Should I teach syllable types?

Syllable types include:

closed e.g. dap/ple dap is a closed syllable as it contains a short vowel
open e.g. ta/ble ta is an open syllable because it contains a long vowel
vowel consonant e e.g. com/plete plete is the VCe syllable because it contains the long vowel with a split digraph
vowel teams e.g. spoil/ing spoi because it contains the long vowel digraph oi
consonant le e.g. bot/tle le
