What advice would you offer schools who do not have a scope and sequence? Where do you start?

If your school has no scope and sequence at all, you must start with your syllabus documents and/or The Australian Curriculum. Teachers can highlight where the five areas of reading, specifically phonics, and identify where these fit in each grade/stage.
