What can we do to prepare for the Phonics Screening Check?

The answer is really nothing. To be clear, it is designed to be a screener, not a test. Unlike NAPLAN it is not an assessment that determines how well a school is going compared with other schools. It's simply a screener for all Year 1 students. There is no need to practice the test, nor the pseudo words. The best 'preparation' is a good synthetic phonics program.
